Submissions will be accepted from November 18th, 2023 to February 1, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST. There is no cost associated with the competition. Contest entries are to be submitted to sci4teens321@gmail.com.
Topic: Research STEM-based solutions to save the dying coral reefs, and propose a cost-effective, successful, mainstream solution, if only one method were to be used globally.
Students from age groups 13-18 are welcome to enter! Participants can work in groups of up to 2 people. Submissions must be written and under 800 words.
Written aspects of each entry must have a title and be typed with 12 pt Times New Roman font. Essays can include graphics [such as graphs/statistics/images], which must be cited properly if found off the internet. See Competition Rules for more guidelines.
FIRST PLACE: Cash: $25, publication of piece in Cellfie Magazine, opportunity to give virtual presentation on a topic of their choice, opportunity to become a Sci4Teens Ambassador.
SECOND PLACE: Cash: $15, publication of piece in Cellfie Magazine, opportunity to give virtual presentation on a topic of their choice.
THIRD PLACE: Publication of piece in Cellfie Magazine.
